Portrait Photography Compare/Contrast

I chose to compare and contrast these to images because the show two very different angles on photography. They both share the similarity of being staged. Neither photos were taken by the person in the image, even though it is suppose to look like they took the photo themselves. The main difference is the setting. The second one is clearly an attempt at a candid photo of someone's daily life while the first one is clearly imitating a selfie in an empty room.
